Music Arts & Sports

Sports was a large part of the activities that was Liberty Union and greatly supported by the community. Parents and towns people alike.

Music and the Arts was also a big part of the school and there were some outstanding musicians, directors, and singers who went on to be a part of great organizations like The Ohio State University Band, Ohio University Band. Some went on to teach, paint, and even write music technique teaching materials.

Remembrance

This entire site was created for the purpose of remembrance. The goal is to never forget our predecessors, their accomplishments, and help to paint a picture of what transpired before the current day and how we got here.

The rememberance section lists many of the alumni that have gone on before us and to those who represented us in service and some who died in service to the United States of America.

“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Philosopher: George Santayana

Liberty Union, Baltimore, Basil, Thurston, and Ohio has a rich history that should be remembered.
