Back on our second Saturday in June schedule, the Liberty Union-Thurston Alumni Banquet was held this past June the 11th. Turn out was great! Meal was catered by Wendi’s catering and there were many compliments on the food this year. 
We honored the class of 1972 this year for their 50th graduation reunion. Oldest member attending was Opel (Kaffuman) Wacker form the Class of 1940 at age 100. Opel is still active in communication and posting from her ipad regarding the activities of the Alumni. She sets and example for us all!
